" THE GLORY "

A2000-year-old redwood was perhaps the perfect medium for this timeless subject.

It is possible that on the very day Christ's promise wasfulfilled and he ascended into Glory, the seed of this redwood gave birth to its own promise. Tried by the elements of time, it stood for a season, as a testament to one much greater, that which held the promise of eternal life.

Ironically, it was from its own death, while its fractured, lifeless body, lay hopelessly on the forest floor, that the voice of destiny would call ... One that had until then, slept silently in mind of a sculptor.

Carved in three main pieces, it stands 8 feet tall, 10 feet wide and 5 feet deep, finished in natural oil.

The backs of the pieces will remain incomplete, as does the vision of eternal life, in the mind of the artist.
